The Cow

Somebody gave us a little barn animal set that has a duck, pig, rooster, and a cow that make their sound when squeezed. Tyce was completely expressionless when all the animals would make their noise except for the cow. Every time we would squeeze the cow, Tyce would have an absolute come apart. It was the funniest thing.

Oh Hey!

Tyce is a little over 7 months and he finally got two little teeth on the bottom. He hates being on his stomach so it will be awhile before he thinks about crawling but just in the past few days he has found that rolling on his stomach helps him be a little more mobile. Most of the time he just arches his back, pushes off with his feet, and scoots wherever he wants to go. He is really starting to get a little personality. He is so much fun. We really like him.

Giggles

One of my favorite things about Tyce is that he is so quick to laugh. He gets kind of punchy sometimes and he'll just stare at me, waiting for me to do anything and he'll bust up laughing. Sometimes all it takes is a blink. I've even heard him laughing to himself in the car. Rustin can get him laughing so hard that he sounds like an old man wheezing and he honestly can't catch a breath - it is the funniest thing. The problem is, every time I try to get it on video, he won't laugh, he just stares at the camera, so this is the best I've got.

Fishing at Porcupine

We went fishing at Porcupine Dam the other night. It was a little cold so we had Tyce wrapped up. This is him sitting on the bank watching us fish. He has three brown stripes on the top of his pupil, in his right eye and you can almost see them in this picture if you look close.

This is Porcupine Reservoir. It is such a pretty lake. We come up here all of the time but we rarely catch anything and the fish we do catch are pretty small. As you can see, there isn't a whole lot for the fish to eat, but it's fun anyway. The leaves are just starting to change and it is getting colder. I love this Fall weather!

We did catch a few Salmon or Kokanee or whatever they're called. It was really fun. Tyce would have sucked on the fish if I would let him. He loved it. He is starting to pay more attention to animals. He was pretty expressionless up until now, but he gets really excited when he sees the cat, the dogs, and the horses.

This is us. Our fishing family. Tyce wouldn't let go of the fishing pole for anything. I thought it was kind of funny that you can see the reflection of my hand taking the picture in our sunglasses.

My fishermen.

Kissing Dad?

Rustin thought he was getting a kiss, but Tyce just pulled his face in and started chewing on his nose.

Tomato Face

Tyce was being so onry during dinner so I gave him this tomato to entertain him. The skin was so thick and he doesn't have any teeth yet so it was like a rubber ball. But eventually it got soggy enough and it got everywhere. We had a good laugh (oh woops, look at the second video first).

Little Piddle Bug

The other morning it was so cold, we had to bundle up. This sweat outfit cracked me up, he looked like a little piddle bug.

Tyce loves his jungle and so do I. It's the only place he'll be content by himself for more then ten minutes so I can get something done.

This is what we look like after dinner.

Labor Day Camping Trip

We went camping up Ephraim Canyon over the weekend. It was so cold. We woke up in a cloud and it sounded like the wind was going to blow the trailer over. All night we listened to the pouring rain and hail. It was wild, but still very fun.

Oh Good Morning! It was a rough night, but we made it.

Tubbing in the camp trailer.
