We have made it a tradition to go on a trip for our anniversary. The first year we went to Florida, the second year, Tyce was pretty little so we just stayed in a hotel in the Salt Lake area, and this year we went to Colorado to visit the ranch where I use to work during the summers. It was so fun.

We spent one day in Estes Park, and this is a picture up in the Rocky Mnt National Forest. It was beautiful but quite cold.

We rented a tandem bike and rode around this Lake. It was so funny. I was perma-grin the whole time. People kept staring at us. I could not be the driver in the front. I couldn't figure out how to balance Rustin's weight in the back. It was like driving drunk, we were laughing so hard we couldn't breath. Both of us were almost in tears for laughing. I felt like we were two little kids just playing around, it was so funny.

On Saturday we went on a gorgeous all day horse ride. It was heavenly. We rode up to this cabin, they call cow camp, and had lunch. It is where they take their guest for the overnight.

We couldn't have asked for better weather. It wasn't hot, but it didn't rain, just cool enough to wear a long sleeve shirt. Just perfect for a ride.

We made it back to the barn, but we were quite sore.

Tyce stayed with Grandma and we really missed him (although it was nice at the same time) but the worst part of the whole trip was when I went to pick him up, he wanted nothing to do with me. He kept pushing me away and wouldn't so much as look at me. He started calling Grandma, and his Aunts - Mom. It was really sad. I almost cried. He screamed the majority of the ride home...yep...he loves his Mom.
