Grandpa Palmer

Tyce loves Grandpa Palmer!

This is my niece Evelyn. She is so much fun. I couldn't help taking a picture of her with this hat. It cracked me up.

Army Crawl

So Tyce is 9 1/2 months and he's still not crawling, but he has managed to get where he wants to go. He use to scoot on his back but now he does this army crawl. Sorry, the video on our camera is not very clear but you get the idea.

Tyce face...

Rustin is just finishing up his final projects before finals week (Tyce is good help). His last finals week. He graduates on the 13th and we are super excited to be done and do something other than homework in the evenings.

Last Saturday we went up Spring City canyon with a lot of Rustin's family to get our Christmas tree and of course I forgot my camera. It was gorgeous and we had a wonderful time. Tyce was enthralled with all of the diesel engines, 4-wheelers, and chain saws. This boy loves motors.

Tyce helped Grandpa Walker sort through the lights.

Rustin gave him an oreo cookie and he was pretty excited about that.

He had some wild morning hair.

Alas...

I'm usually not into the whole tagging game, but alas.... Six random facts about me. I thought I would narrate with some pictures.

1. I've only seen the ocean once in my life. This picture is at White Sand Beach in Florida - it was heavenly.

I couldn't resist adding this picture for you Cal! This is also at White Sand Beach but it was right after we got out of the van and we were both incredibly car sick.

2. I have always wanted to write children books. I graduated with a degree in English, emphasizing in creative writing. All of you will be very glad to know me when I am a booming author someday.

3. I can't swim. Not really well anyway. I never took swimming lessons. The only real swimming we did growing up was in ponds.

The only time I feel comfortable in water is with a life jacket and every time I go under I plug my nose.

4. The only time I ever had short hair was a couple of years ago and I donated it to Locks of Love. I sort of looked like Orphan Annie so I don't think we'll be doing that again any time soon.

5. My favorite Christmas song is "I Want a Hippopotamus For Christmas". It makes me so happy when I hear it. (I took this picture at Bush Gardens in Florida. I was so fascinated by this giant swimming hippo.) Here is a link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e7xjjlUbpJ4

6. Me and Rustin just bought this little cabin up in Wyoming........... ok its a lie, but my sister lives by this house and I thought it was beautiful.

Unfortunately, I don't have a picture for this but I have started to play the guitar which is fun. If Sarah and Melanie are reading this, I know your thinking that I was a pretty amazing guitar player when we were at Snow, but this time its for real. I can play some songs without a five minute pause between each chord.

Ok, like I said, I'm not really into this tagging business so if I don't abide by all the rules, I'm sorry. I tag, Cali, Katie Jane, Melanie, and Mandy.

More Of Us

We went to the BYU game last Saturday and met up with Cali and Bryan. The weather was perfect. Every time the fall weather begins, I get so excited for BYU football.

Grandma and Grandpa Walker brought this giant sucker home from Disney Land for Tyce and he thought it was fabulous.

He was such a sticky mess so we stripped him down and put him in the tub afterward.

I usually love when the weather gets cooler but it is hard with a baby. We use to spend a lot of time outside so its hard on both of us to be inside so much. But I do bundle him up now and again to go on a walk.

Halloween Pics

Tyce was a little lion for Halloween. We didn't dress up this year, but last year...

Rustin was Napoleon Dynamite. I was laughing so hard. It was almost frightening how good he looked. I am sorry to say that I couldn't find the picture that shows the whole ensemble, with the moon boots, tucked in pants, and vote for Pedro shirt.

Tyce was pretty ticked off when I was trying to put some eyeliner on his nose and cheeks.

It was kind funny though.

Whats New With Tyce

I thought I would let you know what is going on with our boy. I couldn't resist posting this picture. He loves to play the piano and he loves to be naked. We usually let him go naked for about 20 minutes before his tub and he goes wild.

He loves anything with a motor. Dirt bikes, diesel engines, and especially the lawn mower. Every time he hears the lawn mower, he gets so excited. Roland took him on a ride the other day and he was so fascinated.

He has started to really like balls. He will play catch (or roll as it were).

He loves to be outside, as every little one does. Every time I turn the door knob to go outside, he squeals and gets so excited.

He has learned how to clap and suck through a straw and he loves to open and close doors. He would open and close the doors on his closet all day if I let him. He loves books, just to open and close the pages.

He loves to watch the leaves blow in the wind. He'll stare at them forever.

I can't decide if his eyes are done changing. They are such an interesting color right now. Kind of brown and yellow around the pupil and green on the outside but sometimes they look blue, I don't know - we'll see.

He puts everything in his mouth as usual. He loves anything sweet like chocolate, and strawberry jam and anything with lots of flavor, like BBQ sauce, ketchup, fry sauce, lemonade, etc. But still won't eat solid food he just makes a face a spits it out or chews on it and then gags.

Well thats all I can think of right now. He is in such a fun stage. I wish every day that he wouldn't get any bigger. He is so delightful.
