What we've been up to.......

We planted our garden. Tyce was so excited. He was giggling the whole time. He is so fun! I love this age!

Jacey watched. She was good for about 5 minutes and then screamed the rest of the time in true Jacey fashion.

Tyce couldn't quite plant the seeds quite right unless he had his Geneva Rock measuring tape on his side.

He hammered (or doink, doinked as he calls it) in the pegs.

I laughed so hard when I saw this picture. It totally captures his attitude about the garden. Ha!

Moved pipe with Grandpa.....well mostly just rode the 4 wheeler :)

Held hands with Els, so cute.

Helped Grampy fix the lawn mower.

Read books with Grandpa Palmer.

Found a bulldozer and Tyce was in 7th Heaven.

Dad's birthday!

and helped me make cookies on a lazy Sunday afternoon. love it. We are in a great phase right now. I love our kids ages, they make all experiences fresh and exciting. I am so grateful for them and the chance to see life through their eyes.

Easter Pics

Here are a few Easter pics, a little late as usual, but still good. Easter was so much fun. Holidays get more and more fun as Tyce starts to figure it out.

Grandma and Grandpa Leishman made up the cutest baskets for the kids. I couldn't believe the time they put into making them.

Don't mind the Christmas wrapping paper......I should really get a different flavor sometime.

Rustin gave Jacey a Kit-Kat, her first chocolate, she ate it like she was starving to death. oh boy. She might be more like me than I care to admit.

The kids helped my Dad feed the horses. I love it. Its so fun for them to be on the farm.

Buddy Jayden

In March, Tyce's cousin Jayden came to stay with us for a couple of nights. It was so fun. They played and laughed for two days. They are the cutest little buddies.

I wasn't sure how they would do sleeping next to each other, but it worked perfectly. They both went right to sleep and in the morning Jayden tried to get Tyce to get out of bed and Tyce wouldn't have any of it until he was ready. They even took naps together. They loved it!

They both had their "Light Queen" pj's which they both thought was super cool.

And boy did Jacey get a lot of love......

It was seriously so fun. I didn't want to give Jayden back.....maybe his Mom will let us do it again :)

So we have been in the process of loosing Tyce's nap for awhile. It's been a rough transition. He does great until dinner time and then he is either a whiny monster or this......... I guess we'll figure it out :)

I have a lot of pictures I have wanted to post but blogging hasn't been a high priority lately. I'm going to try to catch up in the next few days. Tyce loves to make cookies with Grandma.

She is so good to let him help, even though the ingredients end up a little less than exact.

This boy....

I know that posting two days in a row is a little out of control for me but I had to tell you about Tyce this morning. So Tyce has a few prized possessions that he got two years ago for Christmas and has played with them every single day from then until now (no exaggeration), his miniature track hoe, skid-steer, backhoe, dump truck, grader, and front-end loader. They are all a little mangled but he still loves them. They go in the tub with him every night, the play doe, rice piles, snow, and paint, cereal, and anything and everything else you can think of. So this morning he snapped off the the bucket on his front end loader which is one of the pieces he plays with the very most. I thought he was going to have an absolute break down (like he did when we lost one of the tracks to his track-hoe). He was really sad and kept asking me to fix and I told him I couldn't and finally he sat there for a moment and said,"ok.......I guess I'll have to tow him away with the tow truck." and with sad, defeated little voice he said, "lem me go get it." It was so cute. Then he went on playing. He teaches me so much. I really love this little boy.
