These are the mighty hunters. We always go home for the deer hunt and Rustin claims the only reason he is able to get a deer every year is because of his "deer hunt beard". The good news is, he has since shaved.
This is the deer he shot last year (sorry about the blood but its the only picture I have). I was there with him, pregnant and in camo, but we forgot to take a picture with me in it. This little deer wasn't much more than Bambi but we only have Saturday to hunt so Rustin shoots the first thing he sees with antlers.
He got a little three point this year. But next year I'm going to put in for the hunt. The only thing I've ever killed is a ground squirrel so it we'll see how it goes. I just want to do it once.
