5 Years.....

It's been five whole years of marriage and in celebration we went to Red Lobster and then to a Real game. I don't know if it was because we were without the kids (which rarely happens), or if the energy drinks they were handing out at the game were spiked, or simply because of the atmosphere and crazy soccer fans in the Rio Tinto Stadium, but I felt so free and giggly and I don't think I quit smiling for 2 seconds. I was totally enthralled with the game. I was so sad when it ended. I could have watched for several more hours. Soccer is so exciting when your there. I loved it! I can't wait to get to another game. I could seriously get addicted.

On a different note, I have been thinking about the past five years and all the things Rustin and I have experienced together. I really am grateful for him. One of the things I love the very most about Rustin is the way he loves his family. He has earned his place in heaven. He is so conscious of our needs and desires and he is always so happy to be with us. Rustin is good to the core and Tyce has inherited that trait, which I am eternally grateful for. He is always so willing to help clean the kitchen, do dishes, fold laundry, vaccuum, take the kids so I can go somewhere alone, the list goes on and on. I really love him and the way he urges me to be better, simply by being himself. I am very grateful to be eternally connected to such a remarkable husband. Thank you Rustin!
