Easter

I am so behind on my blog it's ridiculous. My goal is to post everyday this week and try to catch up a little but I thought I would start with the most recent. We had such a fun Easter. I love Easter probably more then Christmas because it is simple, beautiful and comes with no stress and for some reason twix, snickers, and kit-kats taste way better in pink, yellow and blue wrappers.....to say nothing of cad-bury mini eggs (I have eaten myself sick several times and plan to do it again next Easter just to keep up with tradition).

We hid candy around the house which I love doing because it is one of my favorite childhood memories and then we hid some eggs outside as well. (when I say "we" I mean "I", Rustin was still in bed but I couldnt sleep because I was so excited)

I love her morning hair :)

all the loot :)

I love all their morning faces. It kind of annoys me that Rustin can wake up just as good looking as he went to bed......me on the other hand, something very deteriorating happens during the night.

Every Easter I have resisted buying them new church clothes but I saw this blue dress at Kohls and I just couldnt leave it there! I think Tyce looks so handsome in green. I really love these two.....most of the time.....when they look this cute, it really helps :)

I think I am way more in love with her dress then she is so I had to take a bajillion pictures. I know they probably all look the same, but just humor me.

I made ham and funeral potatoes for dinner which is my all time favorite Easter tradition. My friend gave me and idea to make resurrection rolls for dinner which I thought was a cute idea so I tried it and they totally flopped. I so wish I would have taken a picture because they looked so ridiculous - I had a good laugh. You were suppose to put a marshmallow in the roll dough and then when they cook the marshmallow is suppose to melt and leave a hollow roll to represent the tomb hence "resurrection rolls". Well the marshmallow leaked and I didnt cook them long enough so it was a disgusting sticky mess - the kids barely ate them (with only a few violent threats). Better luck next year :)

That evening we dyed eggs. The kids enjoyed it way more this year then ever before so it was pretty fun.

Here is one of Super Y just because they other 2 dominated the pictures :)

But all in all, we had a great Easter. The kids are in such a prime phase for holiday fun. They are so excited about anything and everything. I sort of wish I could freeze them.......until they start fighting and screaming and throwing fits, then I could probably sell them or at least dream about them going away to college :) Anyhow, Happy super late Easter!

Oh my they looked so cute. And.....you are right they did get the loot. I didn't want to show my kids what you guys got from the easter bunny or they will think they got ripped off. Ha They looked so adorable in their new church clothes. That little Y guy gets cuter and cuter.
