Disneyland

Here are our Disneyland pics.... Tyce was excited out of his skull!!!
Jacey....not so much, ha! She was ticked off 5 minutes into our trip...

I laugh every time I look at this picture....this is what she looked like after the 9 + hour drive....poor little lamb :)
This was the first day at Disneyland and Tyce's face says it all. It was like Christmas every morning!
Tyce and Jayden were so dang cute together. I'm so happy they were there together. so fun!
Jacey LOVED the "its a small world after all" ride. She waved frantically to every display, she clapped and giggled, it was so cute!
Grandma and Grampy with the girls waiting for us to go on the roller coaster :)

It was so fun to put the kids to bed and hit the rides without the screaming and carrying fruit snacks, sunscreen, water, strollers, etc. It was our turn to be the kids :)

So Tower of Terror was probably my favorite :)
The highlight of the trip was the show of color we went to the last night we were there. It was truly breathtaking. The kids loved it too but this was Tyce on the way home that night :) Fell asleep on my back, poor little buddy. He did so good. Walked the whole time and never complained even when I knew he was totally exausted. He was such a delight.
Grampy and the crazy monkeys :)
The boys waiting for us to get ready to go to the beach :)

The beach was divine!!!! Tyce played and played in the sand and cried when we had to leave. It was such a perfect day!

Jacey loved the sand and loved hanging with the girls but she likes water about as much as I do :) She wouldnt even get her toes in it. But she would have been happy in the sand for the rest of her life :)

The water was pretty cold but I finally quit being a wimp and we all counted down and ran and dove in......ok so they all dove and I just sort of ran in gracefully :) The water was fun but when the waves pulled you out, it freaked me out...should probably learn to swim first I guess, ha!

More Disnelyand :)
Some one gave me this little backpack so I could keep track of Jacey but she'd sooner claw your eyes out then let you keep her on a leash. Everytime I put it on when went bazerk! She laid on the ground and screamed til I took it off, soooooo, we just had to keep an extra careful eye on her and keep her in the stroller as much as possible. She actually did really good. I didnt expect her to love it as much as she did. It really was so fun to be there with her.

All Tyce wanted was to see Jessy. This is what he talked about for 6 months and this was the long awaited moment. It was so cute! He didnt care a hoot about any of the other characters, just Jessy :) So fun.
It really was the funnest vacation. I wish we could have stayed a few more days. It really is a magical place :)

Baby Animal Days

So I am always late posting....we went to baby animals days the first part of April and there was a ton of people but it was still so fun. We went early enough that the lines weren't too long and the kids loved it.

This goat would not leave Jacey alone. Jacey liked the attention at first but then started to get pretty ticked by the time it started eating her fingers. They developed quite a love/hate relationship. She would get so mad when it started nibbling her, but yet, she wouldn't leave it alone.....it was so funny.

The baby goats were so cute - they were just her size :)

Dang goat again....she just couldnt get enough of it chewing her fingers off... ;)

Tyce loved the piggies but they made Jacey a little nervous....

and of course....the train :) Tyce could have cared less about the animals but the train ride was better then Christmas. Its so fun to see all the little thrills of a four year old - I love it :)

Oh Sun! lol....Tyce was so gentle with the baby chicks and baby ducks.....Jacey was anything but. I seriously thought she was going to kill it. She was squeezing it so hard around the neck and I couldnt pry her little fingers off. I thought I was going to have to return a dead duck, can you imagine? That would have been so embarrassing, ha! She really loved them though, just a little too much love :)

Tyce took a turn at the greased pole....and yes, that was as far as he got. But it was a valiant effort :) I couldnt talk him into the mutton bust'n, and after I saw the size of the bucks they were riding, I was kind of glad he wasnt interested. Very few kids walked out of their without getting trompled and bawling - but very entertaining. Jacey was in love with the Rodeo clown, clapping frantically every time he came out.

After 4 hours, they were both pretty beat, but such a fun day!

bff Cali

Let me tell you about my friend Cali. She and I have one of those "love at first sight" story's but not in a creepy way. The first time I met her was playing basketball with mutual friend. I remember watching her walk in and instantly felt like I really liked her. We started chatting and it felt like we had known each other for several life times........ Well that was the beginning of my very favorite friendship. Right when I think we couldnt possibly be more connected, something happens...... We had our hearts broken at the same time by stupid boys, we got married within a few months of each other. Had our first baby within a few months of each other, our birthdays are within four days of each other. Our husbands birthdays are in the same month.....not that that has anything to do with anything....but ya know......We just seem to do the same thing at the same time and its so nice to have so much in common with such a dear friend. Its so nice to be so understood, so not criticized, so excepted, and so 12 years old when we get together :) I love her to the core. She is truly wonderful. Well, we went to a ReAl game awhile ago and no one could have believed us to be sober when in fact, we were probably of the minority as being such. We laughed til we cried and I even peed a little.....which happens a lot with sudden bursts of laughter.... it was so dang fun:)

These pics arent even the half of it.....Might kife some from Cali that depict the evening a little better. But sure love you Cal! Thank you :D

Years off my life....

Sometimes I joke that Jacey is going to be the death of me........but in all seriousness she very nearly made my heart stop the other day. I was playing outside with Tyce and Jacey and we live on a very busy road. Jacey was riding her little firetruck down the side walk towards the road where she usually turns around and come back. Well I bent down to talk to Tyce and looked up to see Jacey climb under the gate towards the road. I jumped up and yelled her name and she gave me that "come and get me" smile and took off running to the road.....I sprinted over and grabbed her just as she crossed the white line.....there was car coming, which actually saw her and was stopping to miss her before I got to her. It really was the scariest thing I have ever experienced. I just held her and cried and my hands and legs didnt stop shaking for an hour after..... So so incredibly grateful the driver of that car was watching and slowed down....

As much as I joke about Jacey being the very devil (ha!) she really is the light of my life. Look at this face, how could she note be :) She has so much personality.....she is absolutely hysterical and makes me laugh so hard so many times throughout the day. She is sassy and conniving, but somehow tender and almost sweet sometimes too. She is the biggest tease and I swear she already has 'little man's syndrome'. She has no idea how little she is and is pretty sure she is the biggest one in nursery.

I find her in the sink quite often as well as playing in the toilet and bath tub......I think she has built up a hefty immune system for all the disgusting things I have found in her mouth but she seriously never gets sick so I guess thats a good trade off :) (knock on wood)

Tyce does his best to tolerate her. She has quite a vicious streak as she claws, bites, pinches, hits, etc.... Tyce always has a scratch on his face from her. Rustin use to ask what happened when a new wound would show up on his face but now he just says, "Jacey did that?" lol... She loves to steal Tyce's toys just to get a rise out of him. She'll steal something and take off running and chuck it before he tackles her.....at which point she crys and then attempts it again. She is seriously so wild.... but makes me laugh ALL the time.

She is a pretty good eater and LOVES green beans and pea's. How awesome is that? After Tyce who has eaten maybe 3 vegetables in his life, it thrills me to death to have her eat good food.

If she finds a tupperware of pea's in the fridge she goes nuts and hands them to me to open. She eats them cold or warm and I love it!

Her hair is now long enough for pig tails and its the cutest thing!

She is obsessed with books and has trashed so many books that I cant even get them from the library anymore bc I'm so sick of paying for the missing pages :)

She is quick to giggle and give hugs and kisses. She loves to talk to people and absolutely loves nursery. The first time she went, she walked right in, never looked back. When I came to pick her up, she cried and wanted nothing to do with me...... She found a whole world of new friends and toys and she wasnt about to leave. It was so funny :)

Well, Jacey really is something else. She is into EVERYTHING and makes me crazy sometimes. Especially since she learned out to get out of her crib, open doors, and how to get outside all in the same week. But she really is a delight and she brightens my every day. She is such a funny little person and I am so grateful I have her. I really do love my little girl :)
