Rustin's Deer

Rustin got his deer and Tyce loved it.


The kids were pretty excited about it. Tyce has been shooting everything he can think of ever since Rustin shot this deer. He plays hunting every day now, its kind of funny to listen to.

Bear Lake Pics

Just because its snowing outside I thought I would post pics of warmer days. We went up to Bear Lake in September. It was so fun!


Tyce had a ball playing in the sand.


We don't go anywhere without our trucks!






He was getting cold, so he just laid down in the sand for awhile.

Hooray for the Internet!!! Here is baby Jacey!

Here is baby Jacey! She was born 2 1/2 weeks early on August 22nd. Life has been a little crazy and I have not had the internet until this week so this post has been delayed. Jacey is a beautifully healthy little girl and we are so grateful!


She was 6 lbs 6 oz and 18 in long. Her hair looked like a light brown at first but it seems more red now. I'm sure it will be like Rustin's color - red with a lot of brown.


My Best friend Cali came to the hospital and took these pictures. She is incredible.


Rustin has been smitten by this little girl from the first moment.




It was so fun to have Tyce come to the hospital and see his little sister. He was very excited. Cali captured the perfect moments in these pictures. I love it.

The Zoo

We took Tyce to the Zoo a few weeks ago. It was so fun. He liked the animals, but it was all we could do to keep him focused when he could hear the whistle of the train. He wanted to ride it so badly.


He really liked the "elf-a-lants" and the Tigers.


He loved the carousel and wouldn't let me touch him or his wolf.





It is such a fun age to take to the zoo because he is old enough to know what the animals are and young enough to be completely thrilled to see them. Such a fun age, I love it!


At long last, we boarded the train. He couldn't have been happier.



The train was all he could talk about for weeks after.


He loved the snake slide. You could hear him giggling the whole way down.


It was such a fun day.


We went on a 4-wheeler ride last Saturday and it was really cold, but so beautiful.


We went on a long 4-wheeler ride to the "Horseshoe" yesterday and it was equally beautiful and quite warm.


Tyce loved throwing rocks down the cliff and watching them roll to the bottom.



Tyce gets a lot of dust in his eyes and they get really blood shot when we ride so we borrowed some goggles which were enormous - they took up his whole face, but they worked like a charm.


He looked so funny.


We took some western pictures at our family reunion back in June and Tyce looked so good.



Everyone dressed up and took a family picture. It was really fun.

Camping, Parades, & Fishing = Summer

This summer has been so much fun. We have been able to do a lot of camping, fishing, 4-wheeling, and all the summer festivities. It is has been so fun to live so close to the mountains that we love.


This was us waiting for the fireworks. Tyce did not love the fireworks. Everytime the loud boom would go off he would ask if they were shooting rock-chucks (which Rustin has shot a lot of so he is pretty sure that is what guns are for). He would cover his eyes with his blanket for awhile and then watch the fireworks for awhile, then cover his eyes, etc. It was so funny.


He has just started really like riding the horses. He loves to ride bareback. Me and my sisters go up to my parents house sometimes once a week to take our kids riding which has been really fun.



We went to Grandma Walker's for Lamb Days and had donuts while waiting for the parade.



He loves the parades. At first he didn't care a lick for the candy, he was so fascinated by the tractors, firetrucks, "cool dude cars", and trailers, and everything else with a motor, we could not get him to pick up the candy.



But he caught on after awhile.


He loves to fish with his Dad.



He was so excited about the fish - he wouldn't leave them alone.


These boys love their "Grampy".


We went to Rustin's family reunion known as Mickel Camp and their big tradition is to bring up a mutton and cut it up right there and cook. Kind of a fun tradition if you like mutton. The smell is a little more then I can handle but they love it.



Tyce went frog hunting with his cousins.


They caught a salamander and Tyce kept calling it an alligator.


This is his construction site. He asked me for some grapes but didn't eat them - he had a better use for them. Whatever entertains them, right?
